Finance Coordinator - Part Time

The Part-Time Finance Coordinator - Americas is a member of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Americas organization, with functional responsibilities within the Americas Finance team. Based in West Hartford, CT, USA, they will be the point of contact for the Finance Team with customer financial accounts. They will also be involved with financial recordkeeping, and other administrative tasks as needed by the WSET Americas Finance department. This position is scheduled to work 20 hours per week.

Hourly Rate: $25.00/Hour
Key Result Areas:
Finance Administration
- Administer Account Receivable and debt collection
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports for month-end closing schedule.
- Assist in monitoring daily operations in accounts payable and reconciliation including all supplier payments
- Respond to customer account inquiries
- Deposit Checks and post payments
- Keep alert to any irregularity of transactions and ensure appropriate handling
- Administer employee expense reimbursements
- Review Company Credit Card Expenses
Business Administration
- Receive and scan mail
- Assist in preparations for annual audit
- Perform business purchases for offices supplies and expenses for employees as needed
- Prepare company accounts used for expenses monthly (credit card, uber, FedEx, etc.)
Other
- Assist with process improvements including software updates and integrations as needed
- Carry out other ad-hoc assignments as needed
- Improve and automate workflow to establish best practice, streamline processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Provide support and back up for operations as needed
Skills and Competencies:
ESSENTIAL
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 platform required, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Forms
- Customer service experience
- Accounts Receivable experience
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor’s Degree
DESIRABLE
- Experience with NetSuite
