Finance Coordinator - Part Time

We’re now looking for a Part-Time Finance Coordinator to join our friendly and collaborative Finance and Operations team in West Hartford, CT. In this key role, you’ll support financial record-keeping and administration, acting as a central contact for financial accounts and helping to ensure our operations run smoothly and accurately.
This is a hybrid role offering 20 flexible hours per week, with just one in-office day each week. It’s perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a supportive, mission-driven environment. You'll play an essential part in a small but mighty team — contributing to a culture rooted in integrity, empowerment, dynamism, and inclusivity.
Location: West Hartford, CT (hybrid – 1 office day/week)
Schedule: 20 hours/week, flexible Hourly
Rate: $25.00/hour

Key Responsibilities in Finance Administration
- Administer accounts receivable processes and manage debt collection.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports ensuring timely month-end closures.
- Monitor and execute tasks in accounts payable and supplier payments.
- Manage customer account inquiries with prompt responses.
- Handle check deposits and payment postings efficiently.
- Identify transaction irregularities and address them appropriately.
- Process employee expense reimbursements accurately.
- Review and audit company credit card expenses.
Business Administration Responsibilities
- Receive, scan, and distribute mail efficiently.
- Support the preparation process for the annual audit.
- Coordinate office supply purchases and employee expense requirements.
- Prepare and reconcile company expense accounts monthly.
Additional Duties
- Contribute to process improvements and system integrations as necessary.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments with a proactive approach.
- Enhance workflow efficiency through automation.
- Provide operational support when required.
Required Skills and Competencies
ESSENTIAL:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Forms.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Experience in handling accounts receivable.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
DESIRABLE:
- Familiarity with NetSuite software.
